You have a chance to win 500 dollars by visiting any five locations listed under each different location.
Visitors to our area will pick up this Passport Booklet from any location listed or at the area Visitor Welcome Centers and get it "stamped" at participating attractions in all the four localities. Upon completion of the program they will be asked to fill out a short survey and registration form (located on the last page of your Passport book) tear it off and leave it at any of the visitor centers to be entered into a drawing.
Arts/Culture
Throughout the four listed locations lies several options when it comes to the arts and cultural enrichment. From pottery to dance, the Central Virginia is rich in art talents, assets and organizations. Also, the culture of the Blue Ridge is kept alive in a variety of ways from music to crafts.
History
Lynchburg, Bedford, Amherst County, and Campbell County are all deeply enriched with prominent history that has shaped our current culture from its beginning with influences like Thomas Jefferson to present times..
Recreation
Fish the James River, bike the Percival's Island Trail in Lynchburg, catch some air on a wakeboard at Smith Mountain Lake, climb the majestic "Peaks of Otter" mountains, canoe down the Staunton River Blueway or discover hidden beautiful waterfalls in Amherst County. I

Throughout Central Virginia, you will find a variety of tastes that will tickle anyone's palette! Restored train stations, downtown cafes, diners and almost any variety can be found in the area.
